Bull N' Claw

Been to this awesome restaurant twice now. Any time we are heading to Maine we will make a detour to Bull N’ Claw. Make sure one of you orders the 8” lobster roll. I preferred the 8” to the time we stopped for the 24”, I thought the 8” was more stuffed with lobster, my hubby said it was my imagination. Great soup & salad bar.

We had an amazing Mother’s Day lunch at Bull N’Claw. The food was delicious and the wait staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home! The two foot lobster roll was the best I over had. The lobster was tender and succulent and the roll was light and slightly crispy. The best I ever had. We will definitely stop there again when we are in Maine.

When you visit, you HAVE to experience the lobster roll! Toasted sub roll just enough mayo and celery and TONS of lobster. Five star

Every visit has been a treat, whether I’m bringing family, friends, or just stopping by for a great meal on my own. The food here is outstanding! One of the real stars on the menu is their two-foot lobster roll—yes, two feet of fresh, perfectly seasoned lobster on a giant, delicious sub roll! And for the quality and quantity, the price is fantastic. Every bite is packed with flavor, and it’s perfect for sharing... or not! The atmosphere is exactly what you’d want in a family-friendly restaurant. It’s cozy and welcoming, with a touch of rustic charm that makes you feel right at home. Kids and adults alike feel comfortable here, and it’s always a pleasure to see the friendly, attentive staff who make every visit special. Barb, in particular, is a gem—she always has a bright smile, and her attentiveness and kindness make the experience even better. She knows exactly how to make everyone feel valued and ensures that every detail is taken care of. We have been die hard Warren's lovers for years, and haven't found a place close to it. Now we have!!! The salad bar was smaller than Warren's....which was ok!! The choices were all fresh and crisp. For dinner we had the baby shrimp with rice and coleslaw; and the the baked stuffed haddock with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Both entrees were hot and cooked to perfection!!! Our servers was training and she did an excellent job!!! We definitely will be back!!

What a delightful place! We were graciously welcomed arriving 30 minutes before closing. Our server was kind, poised and answered all our questions (or found the answers quickly) as she just started working there. The broiled haddock was incredible! They have a crumb topping they add that was seasoned perfectly. The steamer clams were also done right! As soon as we were seated, we had tasty rolls and real butter delivered to the table. Their salad bar looked fresh and delicious although we were just looking for lighter fare. It also includes three different kinds of soup. Pricing was fair. Very clean facility. And yes, the decor is dated, but also charming. We will definitely return.

This is a cute little restaurant. Food was very good nice views. I wouldn’t recommend it for a special occasion as our table was next to the bar and there was a loud laughing and carrying on, but if you like that sort of thing is definitely a great restaurant. It was our 39th anniversary and probably wasn’t the best choice to have a romantic night.

Stopped by for lunch two days ago. We hadn’t been in years. We used to take our young family there as a reasonably priced family spot. So happy to be back as senior citizens! The decor is absolutely adorable and quaint. The food was great and still very reasonably priced. Our server, Theresa, was just amazing! She was serving quite a few tables on her own. She was so sweet, friendly and great at her job. We are so happy to rediscover you after so many years. We will definitely add it to our regular list of go-to spots as we spend our summers in York. Thanks for a great experience.
